Nam Cao's short story Chi Pheo from the perspective of genre discourse

The framework of genre knowledge in each literary era is most clearly expressed through the form of genre discourse. Although selected for a certain frame, in each genre there are still signs of some other genre elements. This is a regular interaction phenomenon of genre life. Accordingly, Chi Pheo's short story, in addition to its independent superiority in terms of genre, also has pluralism in interference and variation of short story and novel genres. To explain this phenomenon, the researcher has investigated on a number of aspects such as: the permeability between the two genres; the process of building the contact area between the art world within the boundary of interaction; and extended forms of speech styles that are discursive in each genre.
